En una nueva jornada del deporte escolar, los muchachos del Luís Campino derrotaron por estrecho margen al quinteto del colegio Sagrado Corazones de Alameda. El 31 a 20 con que terminó el partido, mostró a la larga que los azules dieron el golpe preciso para llevarse la victoria y seguir en carrera por el título.
“Este equipo esta para dar mucho más”, fueron las precisas palabras de Raúl Álvarez, jugador del conjunto de Luis Campino para hablar de su equipo, pues los de Providencia pasaron por mejores momentos que su rival, aunque cayendo en la imprecisión típica de los chicos de la categoría intermedia, pero que a la postre terminaron dándole un triunfo que sirve de mucho para las siguientes jornadas venideras.

En otro de los partidos por la categoría superior, la victoria se la llevó el local Luis Campino, quien derrotó inapelablemente al Sagrado Corazones de Alameda por 46-30, que demostró que el conjunto azul puede ser protagonista del campeonato.
De la mano de Daniel Tirado, el jugador más destacado del pleito, el Colegio Luís Campino mostró un juego rápido, sin sobresaltos y en varios pasajes del partido desdibujó por completo a sus contrincantes quienes a pesar de sus ganas no pudieron con la superioridad los muchachos de Avenida Pedro de Valdivia.
"Cuando yo llegue a este colegio todos nos ganaban, ahora esto cambió radicalmente”, comentó el DT de Luis Campino, Cristian Donoso, quien avizora que su equipo dará que hablar en el campeonato escolar y pueden dar dura pelea a sus rivales en casa. La tarea eso sí, será consolidarse en lo que queda del semestre y abocar los esfuerzos a la siguiente temporada.
